Now the ‘Beast from the East’ has passed Spring is here or hopefully around the corner, I have topped up the girls wardrobes with some lovely little outfits. I was very lucky and received lots of clothes from my baby shower which the girls could wear right up until 6 months. This has kept us going and I haven’t really felt the need to buy too many outfits for the girls. Now the girls are coming up for 6 months their wardrobe is pretty none existent so it was time to get them some clothes for spring/summer.
My favourite shop so far has been Zara, it caters so well for babies and the clothes are very European, which I just LOVE! A few favourite’s of mine have also been Next, Marks and Spencer and I found a great little blouse from River Island.
This pretty shirt is from the Zara collection and comes with a pair of matching briefs.
This sweet little white blouse is from River Island. I will put this with either jeans or shorts for the girls depending on how warm it is.
I always get asked why I don’t dress the girls the same. As they aren’t identical I don’t feel the need to dress them the same as I really want treat them as individuals. I might on the odd occasion have them dressed in the same outfit as I’m not completely against dressing them the same, this is usually when we have been gifted outfits for both girls – Which we are always so grateful for! Whilst I might not dress them in the same clothes I do love to have them in the same pattern but different outfits – Just like in the picture above with the gingham dress and the gingham trousers with the white t-shirt.
This Pom Pom Jumper is my favourite. If Zara did this in the women’s collection I would definitely be making a purchase.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post, please do leave me a comment. If you have any other great places you get your babies clothes from I would love to hear about it, I’m always open to trying new shops especially smaller brands.
lots of love Sophie
