I love a mask, it’s such a great way to relax whether you’re in the bath, in your bed or slumped on the sofa in your comfies. It is the best way to unwind. It’s also great prep for a sassy night out! I’m finding less and less I am using masks to prep my skin for nights out, but more so to make sure I’m getting that extra hydration in to plump out that knackered sallow looking skin through looking after two babies day and night.
As I have been using these mask’s on rotation for the last month I thought I would share them with you. I usually do a mask Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. I have chosen these days tactfully – trust me! Mondays are great days to mask as I like to get over the weekend and gently bring me into the long/stressful/exhausting week ahead. Fridays – Well, this obviously preps me for the sassy weekend N.B These sassy weekends are currently on hold! Sundays – There is no better day than a Sunday to sit back and have a long soak in the bath with a face mask on. N.B This used to be one of my top hangover cures, now I just do it to have that little bit of me time which is equally as rewarding.
Monday’s Mask – Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
I believe I have spoken about this product before. However, seeing as I love it so much I thought I would feature it again. This is a perfect mask to start you week with. Preparing your skin for the week ahead and helping with the withdrawal symptom’s from the weekend.
Friday’s Mask – Origins Flower Fusion Nourishing Sheet Mask
This is a great mask to use just before the weekend to make sure your skin is extra hydrated plumping out those fine lines. This will make applyling make-up really enjoyable as your skin will look flawless.
Sunday’s Mask – Lacura (Aldi) Charcoal Clearing Mud Mask
Yes this mask is from Aldi – But quite frankly I just simply love it. The main ingredient is charcoal which is great for drawing out those impurities from Saturday night. It is amazing for congested skin and those certain times when your skin is not behaving as it should do. I often use this mask a couple of times a week.
